Lock field in Sourcing after integration

Hello Experts,

We are uploading MA into CLM with the xls upload document, so we create the excel document with information and upload it into CLM

but what we want after upload the document and have the information in CLM is lock some fields, becasue we dont want that anyone change them anymore.

is there a script to block fields? or a way to do this?

Hi Martha,

I think you could solve this using page customisation, by configuring non editable the required fields in case the master agreement is imported. To identify the migrated contracts, you could create a new extension field (hidden) and mark it only via the import file. The Page customisation item required should be as indicated in the image (in my case I hide the field ID in case the field ECB_PROJECT_IMPORTED from the current document is TRUE/YES):

Hi Martha,

Are these fields that you never want to be able to edit on all types of agreements?  Or just on some types of agreements?  What fields are you trying to prevent from being edited?  Are these legacy agreements?  Are you trying to not allow edits on fields after integration with ECC?

Can you provide a little more detail on exactly what you're trying to do?  I don't think we have enough information.

You can make fields read-only using page customizations and you can also do it conditionally based on Document Type for example but I think we need a bit more detail.
