Live auction Errors

Hi

In live auction we are facing following two problems:

1. purchaser is not able to extend auction manually in particular auction. Error message is select a status different from current status, Though status of auction is active.

If we copied the same auction and created new one, he was able to extend.

2.Cascading, bidder gets error as Auction is not active, bidding not possible for line item 1 , though the auction is active

In this case also if we copy and create new, bidder was able to submit his bid

Plz tell me, how to resolve such kind of issues.

In both of your cases, my guess is that the auction is no longer active, although it appears to be.

Are both of the auctions rather near the end time when the situation happened ? Or, are they already passed the end time?

No , in both the cases time remaining was more than 30mins.

This error is not repeatative.

hi it could be due to some status updates.

since you could do for others .please see change log of auction again what actually happened.

if you while create a auction extension details , then it would have possible is it appearing for only one bidder .

i am not much aware of auction and just share y thoughts
