Dear SAP gurus,
We're implementing SRM 7 rite now. I know that if we can create a follow-on RFx from an existing RFx. How about auction? Once auction is finished, the bid will go to SRM. If we want to re-negotiate the best price coming from auction, is it possible for us to make a follow-on RFx from the auction?

Request clarification before answering.
No, you can't create follow-on Auction. Usually RFx is the process to narrow down the bidders/suppliers which can go through a few iterations and Auction drives down the prices with its competitive bidding process as the last shot.

Thanks for the reply,
However this scenario is common in my country, usually the purchaser will negotiate the winning price further thus we would require this kind of feature. Is there anyway we can make it possible?
Another reason for this is what if the purchaser make a mistake and try to call off the auction, wouldnt they need a function to create follow on rfx or auction so they can held another?
As we want to have link to the original shopping cart maintained, the prospect of copyng to new auction is not very desirable.
Really appreciate if you can give me some advice on this
Josh
I understand your requirement for linkage between SC and Auction. However I do not quite understand the need to have multiple rounds of the same Auction. If you are bidding on eBay, would you like to be told that the whole auction would start over again AFTER you have won it? Anyway, if a follow-on auction is what your business requirement is, I'd suggest that you create a development request for SAP through official channel.
