Hi All,
I already installed SAP SRM 7.0 Now I need to install SUS.
I have few questions regarding this.
Q1. Can I install SUS in my existing SRM? Q2. How to do this?
Q3. Can this is done through client copy and activating SUS in new client ?
If not
How to install SUS in SRM?
Actually I am completely unaware of SUS.
So, Plz provide me documents or links related to installation and configuration of SUS.
Any type of help regarding this is most welcomed.
Eagerly Waiting for replies.
Thanks & Regards,
Ishan

Hi,
Look for Plan Driven Procurement doucment in the following path. It will give you step-by-step procedure to implement SUS.
Path: Service Market Place-> Release & Upgrade Info-> Installation & Upgrade Guides-> SAP SRM 7.0- Configuration Guides
Q1. Can I install SUS in my existing SRM?
-> It's possible to implement SRM & SUS on same client but It's recommended to have different client for SUS. Refer SAP Note: 573383.
Q2. How to do this?
-> Refer document for the same.
Q3. Can this is done through client copy and activating SUS in new client ?
-> You should activate SUS in new client.

Hi All,
Thanks for your valuable as well as quick replies and also providing helpful links.
In our scenario, the SAP PI is going to be the communicator between the EBP and SUS.
So, my question is that, is it ok to go with client copy for SUS, as the both are in the same instance.
OR should I do separate Instance installation for SUS?
Thanks and Regards,
Ishan

Hi,
Now my scenario is :
I have 2 AS ABAP Instances: 1 for SRM 7.0 EBP and 1 for SRM- SUS and
1 AS JAVA Instance presently configured for SRM EBP.
Now I want to configure same AS JAVA instance for SRM-SUS, Is it possible?
How to do that?
A/c to me I need to connect them using SLD.
Any more configuration are needed?
Or I need to install separate AS JAVA Instance?
Thanks,
Ishan
Dear Ishan,
SUS is part of SRM Server only. What is the activation of SUS ?
SUS and EBP can be used in one Client with limitations. However SAP recommends to use separate Clients for SUS and EBP.
Best Regards
Ram
