Incorrect Remittance advice’s payment date displayed in remittances list

Hi Expert,

Automatic payment run F110 created on 21/6/2021 with posting date 25/6/2021 in SAP.

But incorrect remittance advice’s payment date 24/6/2021 displayed in remittances list.

Hi Dencil,

In Ariba network Supplier register account, under Remittances tab, incorrect Payment date = June 24, 2021.

When click on Transaction to view the Remittance advice details, the Estimate settlement date = June 25, 2021

This looks like an issue related to timezone.

When you extract cxml of remittance advice message/document, what timezone has the timestamp ?

What timezone has your supplier account in its profile?

Hi Prem,

The timestamps for payment Date ="2021-06-28T00:17:56+08:00.

Supplier account profile setup timezone = Asia/Shanghai.

The issue happened in our DEV/QAS client for suppliers account setup timezone with Asia/Kuala Lumpur as well.

Notice the remittance list always 1 day behind if the remittance advice generated and send to Ariba at Morning/Afternoon (Malaysia time), but no issue if send at evening around 4pm++ (Malaysia time).

e.g. Incorrect Remittance advice’s payment date displayed in Remittance list.

In remittance list displayed = Jun 27, 2021

In remittance advice details content the Estimated Settlement = Jun 28, 2021.

Appreciated that you can advice if there is any missing setting.

what is the timezone setting in suppliers profile?

Hi Prem,

Provided both sample supplier timezone in DEV/QAS client, as both client also having issue incorrect payment date in remittance list.

DEV client - supplier timezone = Asia/Shanghai

QAS client - supplier timezone = Asia/Kuala Lumpur

Hello,

This seems to be a defect, please follow-up on Service Request with Customer Support.

As a workaround for time being - can you keep uploading remittances after 4pm Malaysia time ? (as you mention, when uploading then - issue does not occur).

Thanks for the feedback and have raised to SAP Ariba team on this.

Will shared with users the temporary workaround solution until the defect fix.

The only challenge is when there is urgent payment.
