In-Document Messaging sent by Supplier, triggers email notification to the Buyer. However, by sending reply via email, doesn't reach the Supplier Message box, on Supplier Portal. How can it be achieved?

Please find the Image below, for reference, which say's "Comments/Questions reply to the email"

Also, Is it possible, to trigger In-Document Messaging Email with Supplier's Email ID in CC? If yes, please let us know, how it can be achieved.

Hey Manisha,

Responding via email should result in the message reaching the suppliers messaging portlet. If that's not happening then please raise a support ticket here https://connectsupport.ariba.com/sites#sr-help and someone should be able to help out.

Buyers and suppliers can include participants who do not have access to Ariba Network by including the email address of the participant in the Carbon Copy (Cc) field of an email client. When a user initiates a message from Ariba Network, the user can add only one participant. However, when the responding participant replies to a message via an email client, multiple participants can be added.

Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Dencil

Hey Manisha,

If you have responded to the email like it was instructed in the mail and are still encountering the "Missing consent for SAP Ariba Collaboration Policy" error, that definitely sounds like something that needs to be addressed via support ticket. Please go ahead and create one if you haven't done already.

Thanks,
Dencil

Thanks for your answer Dencil Paul, it was helpful.

Now the concern is on replying to email, Ariba has "Missing consent for the Messaging Policy", for which we need to send the reply to the email with my name and address. On which Ariba stores the email and name information, in the Database and further allows me to have replies sent via email to flow to Ariba Network.

But in spite of doing the above steps, please find the image below of my email sent

The email reply does not flow to AN/ Supplier Network. The email response still says "Missing consent for SAP Ariba Collaboration Policy"
