We are importing purchase requisitions from ERP into Ariba using CIG as integration scenario. Unfortunately with this approach attachments are not supported. The solution for this seems to be the integration using webservices. The configuration in Ariba is simple, but what is not so clear is how the data can be extracted from ERP under this scenario.
With CIG integration we have transaction ARBCIG_BUYER_PR_EXP, which has been installed with the CIG add-on in ERP, and allows to extract the requisitions generating the messages for Ariba import. But, with the integration with webservices will we have a similar transaction? Do we need also to install in ERP some add-on? Or, do we need to build our own program to generate the file with the WSDL format appropriated to call the webservice?
Please can you provide some guidelines for the import requisitions using webservices in particular in what concerns the ERP side?
