If an organisation is both a Buyer and Supplier, do they need two different AN IDs and memberships?

Hi,

If an organisation is a Buyer on Ariba Network, but also wants to also integrate as a supplier with their customers (i.e. other Ariba Network Buyers), does the DSN membership cover anything?

Does the organisation need a separate AN ID?

Does the organisation need to sign up for for appropriate Ariba Network Enterprise membership?

Hi Matt,

As of now, such an organisation would require two accounts with two ANIDs (supplier`s account and buyer`s account)

And yes Despite having DSN - They need to sign up for AN Enterprise membership.

SAP`s long term strategy however is to unify these two account types into a trading partner account, and then we may be able to do everything from a single account.
