hello, This is a basic functionality. What is the configuration / design in process control workflow to have an option to 'terminate' the workflow ? In the application control workflow we could easily introduce parallel branch with wait events. However in process control workflow there should be an option available to capture a terminating event.
Any point in time we would want to altogether cancel a workflow instance that is in process, typically waiting for approval.
thanks

Dear bhakti,
if I understand your question correctly then you want to cancel an SRM workflow? From the user's side this is not possible. They can just approver / reject or forward the workitem.
However with a workflow admin you have the option (in SWIA) to "logically delete" a workitem which will cancel the workflow. Please note that after this action you will need to restart the whole workflow if you would like to release the document.
Best Regards
Zoltán
