How to Set default Purchasing Group in SC

Hi Experts,

We have define on PPOMA_BBP the Purchasing Org, and Purch. Groups.

For each Purch. Group. we have set the Organizational Responsability (Object ID) ,

Some Purch. Groups are defined to same Organizational Responsability (Object ID) ,

So, we need to assign one of the Purch. Groups as a default for the SC.

There is no any Attribute for it.

How we can set the default one?

Hi,

1) In the PPOMA__BBP you can define in the attribute tab the Purchase group can be made as default.

Without attribute you cannot create a shopping cart.

(or)

If you are creating shopping cart in this the is a DEFAULT SETTINGS available you can make the purchase group as DEFAULT

We are in SRM5 - SAP is not using any more attribute "Purch.Group."

Again, I suggest creating a custom attribute, making it available in Settings and implement BADI BBP_PGRP_FIND.

We created a new attribute, allowed it to be modified in Settings and then implemented DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP. There are other postings in the forums for adding custom attributes, configuration for attributes and implementing DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP.

Did you check with this attribute PM_PUR_GRP .? here you can default option is available.

but i never used.
