How to search the PO beyond 1 year back while doing Confirmation in SRM7

Hi Team,

We are now upgrading SRM5 to SRM7 with the classic scenario. When I try to do confirmation for the old purchase order i.e. beyond 1 year back timeframe PO's, there is no option to search and there are options till 1 year. Alternatively tried to search with blank search which ideally gives all the PO's but this is also not working for classic PO's and this will be only for local PO's.

In SRM5 there are options to search by timeframe where you can give the time period range and also have the provision of date where you can give the old dates also.

But these 2 fields removed in SRM7 particularly for classic scenario. Further there is no work around solution also.

Anybody has come across this situation and how you are confirming the goods/services 1 year back PO's particularly in SRM7 classic scenario.

It is a standard dropdown for timeframe and a user can search for Max 1 Year PO's and off course SAP has considered performance due which it is restricted to 1 year.

The other option is to search the PO individually and do the confirmation.

Alternative approach of enhancing the timeframe.

The values in the drop down comes from domain /SAPSRM/TIMEFRAME_DOMAIN which ranges from 1 to 6 and the values are converted in class /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_CONF_STAT_HLPR method CONVERT_TIMEFRAME.

You can enhance the domain by creating a fixed value append and also enhance the method CONVERT_TIMEFRAME so that the date is determined.

But please be aware of the after impact, it will cause performance issues. In case of professional purchaser it goes to backend system to get the PO list.
