How to map OCI fields for SAP ECC (ME51) only (without SAP SRM)

Hi,

We are utilizing the APC (Ariba Procurement Content) Integration of Ariba to SAP ECC and we configured OCI parameters for ME51N (Purchase Requisitions). We were able to access APC from SAP ECC and checkout items back but the field in SAP "Short Text" is not being populated. Expectations were that the value for it should have come from the OCI inbound parameter "NEW_ITEM-DESCRIPTION[#]".

Some other fields are being populated automatically after checking out items from APC, we would like to ask where the field mappings are maintained in ECC and how we can configure them? Because we need to update and create some of the field mappings because they are not functioning as expected (i.e new custom fields, SAP fields not having values after OCI checkout).

Also please note that we are only using SAP ECC for this without SRM

Hi Joshua Ocampo,

Can you please post update here if you already got answered. Because i have the same requirement to access ariba catalog from S/4 via OCI. Need to see what are fields can be mapped and which Functional module will support.
