How to initiate Supplier Registration questions without Request form.

Hi Team,

We are planning to use SLP Supplier on-boarding process for creating employees as vendors for expense re-imbursement and as a part of this wanted to simplify the process by asking employees to answer just registration form without any approvals. Is it possible to trigger 'Registration' form directly instead of triggering from 'Supplier Request form'?.

Hi Jagan,

This would be a collaboration request type requisition and would be initiated in your Business Network admin account. The steps involved in the Quick Enablement collaboration request process are the following:

1. A user adds a supplier whose ANID is unavailable in the Ariba Procurement Solution to a collaborative requisition.
2. The collaborative requisition goes to the Ariba Network during the collaboration phase.
3. The Ariba Network creates a private account for this supplier and generates an Ariba Network private ID.
4. The supplier receives an email invitation from the Ariba Network and clicks the link provided in the email to start the registration process.
   • If the supplier is not yet registered, they can accept the invitation by completing the registration process.
   • If the supplier is already registered, they can accept the invitation and combine their new relationship request with their existing account.
5. After registration, an ANID is created and the supplier gains immediate access to the account.
6. The supplier can, then, punch into the Ariba Procurement Solution to view and respond to the collaboration request.

Hi Jagan,

The supplier registration project template must always include, at minimum, an external (supplier-facing) registration questionnaire with an approval task. Only survey documents are valid and only To-Do and Approval tasks can be used.

However, you can have auto-approval and auto-invite set within the Supplier Request approval flow so that it starts automatically and is auto-approved.

Here's how to configure this in the template:

1. Go to Templates, find the Supplier Request Template, and open it.
2. In the Overview tab, click Actions > New Version.
3. Go to the Tasks tab, click the approval task and then Edit.
4. Change the property Allow auto approval to Yes.

Note: For sites using External Approval and Auto Start Registration together, below feature toggles and parameter needs to be enabled.

• S4 Parameter: Application.SM.AutoStartRegistration
  
• S4 Feature: SM-5694
• Supplier Management Administration: External Approval

For sites not using External Approval and requiring Auto Start Registration, only S4 Parameter: Application.SM.AutoStartRegistration needs to be enabled.
