How to import receipt from S/4 to Ariba Buying and Guided Buying

Dear Experts,

we need a possibility to import goods receipt with CIG from S/4 HANA to Ariba Buying AND Guided Buying solution.

In the Integration Manager of the core administration area we found following configuration tasks:

- Import receipt references from SAP S/4HANA

- Import Receipts from an External Application Asynchronously

- Import Receipt Status Asynchronously

Ideally we want the quantity submitted to Ariba Buying and Guided Buying and not only a status.

Which task is the correct one? Are there anything other prequesites to consider before enabling this task?

You can import receipts from an external ERP system to using the webservices task: Import Receipts from an External Application Asynchronously.

As always, evaluate your business requirements with your BASIS team to set the following parameters accordingly as all or some may be needed for your business use-case.

• Realtime Receipts import feature [ER-19150]
• Allow receiving on order or contract via User Interface and Receipt Import simultaneously feature [ER-15528]
• Application.Receiving.AllowReceivingByUserInterfaceAndReceiptImport parameter
• Application.Receiving.AllowReceivingByUserInterfaceAndReceiptImportEnhanced parameter
• Application.Receiving.RealTimeReceiptImportEnabled parameter
