how to Hide filed in Collection

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to hide the field in a collection in contract document .

could you please guide me on above requirement

Hi Pavan

If I understand your requirement correctly you want to hide field from an existing collection for e.g. E Mail ID from Collaborator collection

This can be done using User Interface-> Page Customization. Put Collection name followed by field name for e.g. COLLABORATORS.EMAIL_ADDRESS and set property to hidden

Make sure you have saved UI ID for the document type (master agreement) in page customization first.

My exact requirement is within the Project ---> Schedule tab

i wanted to hide Dependency View (Among Status view, Dependency view ,Tracking view, Cost view).

How to proceed on this requirement.

Hi Pavan,

Hiding columns on a standard collection is currently not supported.

Hi ,

You can hide a field for a collection also . Follow the below steps

1. Setup >> Extension Definition >> select the contract/project

2. Select the collection

3. Select the field you would like to hide

4. mark the respective field as inactive .

It will be hidden from application
