Hi,

I am trying to work with Content lookup API. I want to test GET and POST API for the same but it needs 'lookupname' as a parameter. In help guide, it is mentioned that we can create lookups in SAP Ariba Solutions. However I didnt find where to create it. Can anybody tell me exact steps where I can create lookup? Please provide sample url or type of portal where i can go and create it.

Regards,

Amit Gawali

Hi amit_gawali,

You can create lookups via the Ariba Administrator page, navigate to Catalog Content Manager > Lookup Files.

The steps are specified in the catalog administration guide for buyers - https://help.sap.com/viewer/c9b2518a80f1409aae8660cd58612a65/cloud/en-US/65b0f44dcec2474a9e15dea06d6...

Hi ajmaradiaga

I am not able to find given navigation.
This is my buyer screen after login:

Can you please let me know where to go from here? Or Do I need to login to some different portal?

Hi amit_gawali,

Based on the screenshot you shared, you are in Ariba Network. You will not be able to access the administration from that portal. A Catalog administrator will be able to access the Buyer portal. The URL to access the buyer portal will vary depending on your realm name.... but it should be something like: https://[realm-name].procurement.ariba.com. Get hold of an Ariba administrator in your company, they will have access to the solution.

Hi ajmaradiaga

Thanks for the assistance. Yes I do have access to https://[realm-name].procurement.ariba.com.

But still when I log in I am not able to find Catalog content manager. Can you please guide here?

amit_gawali , you are not in the right screen. You need to navigate to Manage > Core Administration and within it you'll see Catalog Manager. If you don't see that option it is because your profile is missing a role. Your Ariba administrator can help with you with that.
