How to create an output for a saved PO

Hello,

I have a PO in 'saved' status which normally is approved automatically.

There is no output created yet.

The communication method for the vendor have to be changed to e-mail.

What shoul i do in this case?

Shoud i change the PO' status to 'ordered' and ask the buyer to change the communication method and then push order and send immediately button?

Hi

Maintain the output condition records in MN04 for that particular vendor and then try to change the PO and save it. It should then pick up the condition record and then it will trigger the email as per the communication method mentioned.

But i want to know, is it possible for the buyer to change the communication method for the vendor from the web and reorder again or the PO' status should be ordered.

Hi Meriem,

Change the communication method in vendor master and also in PO, put some internal comments in the PO header Notes and order the PO. Hope it should work.

Hi Meriem,

there will be no output if the PO is in saved status, for the output you need to press "order and send immediately" button.

Pls change the medium first and press this button.
