I am new in Self Service Procurement BRF workflow. i have a requirement to configure process level for shopping cart .
There are two types of level.
1) Level 1: if we define level1 in shopping cart then approval goes to the workflow initiator manger , if he/she does not approve
this shopping cart within 2 days then approval goes to the HOD, if HOD does not approve this request then this request is auto approve after two days .
2) Level2. :
if we define level2 in shopping cart then approval goes to the workflow initiator manger , if he/she does not approve
this shopping cart within 1 days then approval goes to the supervisor of the manager, if supervisor does not approve this request within 2 days then this request is auto rejected.
how can we configure this type of scenario by brf rule ?

Hi Ashok,
It seems there are two business scenarios for which you want to configure two separate workflows.
May I ask you what is the starting criteria for each one of those?
Just to let you know there is "Define deadlines for events" in which you can monitor the deadlines at different levels to trigger the work item to the next level and can use responsibility resolver BADI to identify the next agent. We can even use events to retrigger the workflow to determine agents at next level.
Waiting for your inputs to provide further clarifications.

Ravi

Hello Ashok,
if a Work Item was sent to approver(s) defined as responsible agent(s) for current process level, it is not possible in standard BRF to re-determine approver(s) for same current process level if no SC modification was done.
If you want to do so, you will have to create a custom report and schedule it to check for how long Work Item is awaiting for approval in order to transfer the WI to the new approver(s) (according to your business rules).
Regards.
Laurent.
