How to check failed log, status of "integration status" only in Ariba ?

Now, it happened a issue on Ariba SM administrator.
For detail,
by using "Ariba > SM administrator > Integration message status"
we found some failed status.

So, we have to do "reprocess" now.
After that we need to check status whether there is any data of failed status.

So please help to good methods in this issue.
Our demands are
1. We are in charge of maintenance.
2. We must not chang data of users.
3. If we have "SM ERP Administorator" in Ariba, we will be able to do "reprocess". We would like to be able to check failed status only.

Our thinking are that
#1 you should change "send daily notifications of synchoronazation failures" in "Ariba > SM administrator > Set up ERP integration".
#2 The user(system administorator) will be set "SM ERP Administration".
#3 The user's email will be our e-mail address and we cannot use the user in Ariba.
#4 The user is locked.

Our maitenance persons do not have authority "SM ERP Administration" but we can find this issue by email with these thinking?
or
are there best authority(group), we have best authority(only to check failed status)?

In the first place, will be this solution of "send daily notifications of synchronization failures" in "Ariba > SM administrator > Set up ERP integration" solved for our issue("Ariba > SM administrator > Integration message status", we found some failed status.) ?
