how to capture more details in user profile?

How to capture or add additional fields in the User profile screen for a given user, we are expecting to store user related details like what type of user ? user sub type?

Please let us know as to how to do achieve this via user data import ?

We want to capture if a user is contractor or permanent employee in profile.

Hello Aravind,

I'm not sure if there's a field available by SAP Ariba standard which you could use for that purpose, but you can check the data dictionary file, whether the User import contains any field which you could use for your requirement. The data dictionary can be downloaded via Core Administration -> Import/Export -> Download Data Dictionary.

In case there's a field available in the User Import, you have to append that via corresponding user export BAdI in ECC or S/4.
