How Mark Expiration Date Field As Non Mandatory in Contract Record

Hello,

Can anyone suggest how to change EXPIRATION DATE field in Contract Record to a Non Mandatory Field. I have tried to do the same on Page Customization and on WYSIWYG but its not working and not allowing me to uncheck "Make Field Required".

System manditory fields can't be made non manditory. You could however default the content to something reasonable then hide the field.  Just hiding it without a default would in effect make the new documents unsaveable.
