How get access for query definition created by other person.

Hi Team,

I have to edit some query definition created by some another user.

I have a system administration access and all the group access.

As the person who have created the script ,left out of company.

When I am trying to open the query it is showing "contact the document owner to request for it"

Please help me so that I am able to open the perticular query.

Hello Peeyush,

I feel that the person who left the the organization might have added himself in the access list tab of the query.

Unless you remove all the names from the list or add your name in the list, you cannot access the query.

Solution:  As you have system admin access, you can impersonate(Login with his ID) that user and do the needful.

I have logged in through his id also as he  created the query definition.

But still it tells the same problem""contact the document owner to request for it"

SO I think may be a possibilities like creater is differnt than owner. or same

Becaues I logeed in through his id but not able to see .

Hello Peeyush,

Write a query which will fetch the particular query's report developer and login as that user and access the respective query.

Otherwise use enterprise credentials to do the Same.
