How do you know the levels of support package components on other systems when updating SRM_SERVER component?

Hi Gurus,

We are currently updating SRM_SERVER component release 700 from support package level 8 to 13.

I found the following link, which contains support package levels of other components in SRM:

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SRM/SRM+Related+Components+per+SP+Stack

But I don't know what should be the support package levels of component in other systems that interact with SRM, e.g. SAP_APPL component in ECC (currently have SAP_APPL release 604 support package level 6).

How I can know the impact on other systems (ECC, BW, PI)? What should be the level of support package in components from other systems?

Thanks in advance,

Alonso Valenzuela

Hello,

At least from ECC point of view there is no dependency on SAP_APPL support package in SRM 7.0.

Please, check note 1781127, last question.

There is no minimum support package (SAP_APPL) required.

Regards,

Ricardo

Hi Alonso,

When you go into SRM system via GUI. Click on Systems --> Status. It will open up the window like this.

Click on Component version magnifying glass you will see SRM _Server when you scroll down as below;

in My case Release is 701 which means SRM 7 EHP1 and Level is 005 that mean Support pack 05.

Hope this helps.

Thank you

Ritesh
