How do I add a location for maintenance objects?

I am a brand new SAP user. I am currently checking/updating locations for all of my facility's maintenance items. Which I click on the location, the table that pops up does not include all of the locations used at our facility. Is it possible for me to edit this list?

Your question is too general. In most SAP products, we have locations assigned.

Would you please clarify the system where you are updating the location? ERP system or SRM system?
