Hide Vendor Registration page

Hi,

we have a unique requirement where our internal business user needs to fill in the initial data for vendor registration.

once approved, the standard process of email to vendor (with logon and password) follows and then vendor can login to fill the detailed information.

q1: The vendor registration is on sell side and potentially open to all (uninvited) vendors. How do I hide this?

q2: How can I give a authenticated Buyside user access to the vendor registration page. (Note that I still want to mirror the functionality as if vendor is filling the registration, but not allow vendors, but only internal users to do the function)

Hi,

Vendor Registration : Are you looking for new vendor (BP) or registration of vendor contact?

If your looking for registration of vendor contact.

To Hide the Vendor Registration Page : Check and modify the security profiles as per your reuirement and add the contact manually / load through import , whcih will tigger the login details email notification.

Bascally you dont nedd a vendor registration process in E-sourcing for above functionaility.

If your looking for new vendor (BP). the plese give some import or porcess flow ur looking for.

Hi Mani,

thanks for your response.

The scenario is new vendor BP creation. Business user will put in the initial request (similar to vendor registering themselves on E sourcing). But instead of vendors being able to do the initial anonymous registration, we want to control that access so that internal Business users can put in the initial request.

Once approved (on Supplier Registration Pending link), userID and passord is mailed to vendor, where they can continue with the standard scenario of entering more details for their vendor record.

Hi ,

Initail registration page goes with Guest user bu using the profile fci.profile.services.user.

Please check Enterprise workbook --- self reg config page and registration URL.
