HCP Spend Sunshine Act requirements in SRM

How can we implement the HCP spend Sunshine Act requirements in SRM without having the MDM?

Hi Srinivasan,

Sunshine act is a framework used in the USA to aggregate and monitor total amount spent by healthcare manufacturers on individual healthcare professionals and organizations (HCP/O) through payments, gifts, travel and other means.

As I understand this requirement, it necessitates the budgeting of spend by individual professionals. SRM gives the feature of storing budgets allocated to the buyers on extended attributes. Please check if this feature is useful.

I am looking for entering the below attributes at the time of SRM Invoice entry to capture the HCP related spend.

Nature (Dropdown with 24 available values)

Business Purpose (Dropdown with 4 available values)

Primary Product (Dropdown with 5 available values)

Alternate Payer

Any suggestions?
