Hi,
We are on SRM 7.0 and planning to set up MDM.
Could you please shed some light on how to setup the FTP server for MDM. Is it mandatory to have this FTP server on the MDM server? Pl guide so that I can communicate the same to my basis team. What is the concept of Ready folder?

You can use any FTP server. Usually OS has it.
