Hi,
I have just 1 yr exp in ABAP.I have not yet gone into BW or any of the other latest SAP products being offered.
You can improve by creating a section for developers to increase their awareness regarding latest SAP products.

For newcomers like you, we have created a "Getting started" section in every developer area. It is the first item in the right hand "Quick Links" navigation area.

Within there you have links to other documents that will help you expand your knowledge.
