Followon doctype varaible in variable library

Hi Experts,

In the contract generation section of document setup, there ia a variable library which can be used pick up corresponding feild values of the MA for generating the contract. Under the RFx, Auction, Agreement, Master Agreement, Common Agreement source objects, there is one variable called "Follow-on Doc Type". I have tried to use this variable and generate a contract with it, but unfortunately, in all my contracts the system asks me to manually enter the value for this variable.

Can somebody please help me to identify as to which UI feild in the Master Agreement or any any other document does this feild maps with.

Hi Vaishali,

The variables have to be present within the Contract Document Template or the Contract Document that will be used during the contract generation. Based on the value populated in the meta data field, the variable defined in the contract document, the value be auto-populated in the contract document that is rendered after the contract generation is completed.
