Dear forum gurus,
I have a requirement to hide the fields which appears in the pop window when we search for supplier under source of supply in srm 7.0
Is that some thing we can hide through configuration?
Can anyone pls help me ?
Points will be rewarded..
Thanks,
Sanjay
Request clarification before answering.
You have to do with changes in the webdynpro component.
It is not possible through standard config (SPRO)

Hi Sanjay,
As mentioned by Malay it is possible through Webdynpro configuration. It can be done two ways
First find out what is webdynpro for the Source of Supply. You can do that by simply right click on the screen of source of supply where you want to hide the fields and click on More Info you will see Webdynpro there with its screen.
Then through SE80 transaction go into webdynpro. You will find Enhancement spots there for that webdynpro. You can utilize that enhancement spot to hide the fields.
Other way is from SE80 only you will see view modification which will actually modifying the Portal screen itself and it will create Portal Transport not the ABAP transport.
Hope this helps.
Thank you
Ritesh
Hi Sanjay,
As a Functional person you should able to help identify exact Webdynpro and provide it to Developer for further processing.
Also, you will need to define the spec for the developer on which fields need to be hide out. If you decide to hide field through Portal then it depends on how your business would like to handle changes? One place i worked i as functional consultant modified the Portal and created transported while some business would like to have Portal developer to make changes.
Hope this helps.
Thank you
Ritesh
Hello sanjay,
if i understand you correctly, what you are talking about is the supplier search-help.
If i am correct, pop-up displayed is a search-help launched by WDC WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS.
You cannot change this WDC.
One alternative solution could be to create your own supplier search-help (based on the standard minus fields you do not want), then follow blog below (especially category 2 - for search-help):
