We are now verifying some integration scenario using Managed Gateway(formerly CIG) and have the error described in title in CIG side.

As per the article, we need to follow the instruction below;

https://support.ariba.com/item/view/KB0402310

---

Error 5: Fault response received from: ANXXX with Status:FAILED and ErrorResponse: .. Suggested Action : Please contact support with ErrorCode:CIG-PLT-00676.

Solution to follow: In above case the error response content is empty i.e. null. Reason could be destination or ERP application encountered application error or dump. In such cases check in ERP SRT_MONI, SRT_LOG, SLG1, ST22, SMICM logs during timestamp when transaction flow towards ERP failed in Managed Gateway portal Transaction Tracker. If any middlebox like web dispatcher etc. check relevant logs.

---

There is no log in SRT_MONI, SRT_LOG, SLG1, ST22. SMICM shows an error, which says "received a fatal TLS certificate unknown alert message from the peer". Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Any inputs are really appreciated. Thank you.

Check all the steps done in S4, there are steps that were missed when activating the interfaces

Thank you for your suggestion. Changes to Cloud Connector setting resolved the issue.

This seems to be generic error. Check cloud connector logs. Do a connectivity test and check if the issue is with overall connectivity or only this interface. If the issue is occurring only for this interface, then switch on trace in ERP using SRT_UTIL tcode and retrigger the failed message. You will get detailed log.

If it is not reaching ERP, then some issue with Cloud connector to ERP (but then, in this case it should affect all the interfaces and not only a particular interface).
