Extract long texts in PRs imported from backend to HUB system

Hi all,

I am Importing purchase requisitions from backend to HUB system and also I want to bring the long texts(Item text and Material PO text). Anyone has idea how to extract them into Central procurement? ... Later I would like to copy those texts on the follow-on documents, let's say in the CRFQ.

Hi Mireya!

The long texts will be extracted from the backend system to the hub systems during the purchase requisitions import job. This would need the UKMS to be configured for the node "Note Type in Central Procurement". The note type - node type mapping has to be maintained for the hub and connected system so that the texts are extracted successfully.

As of now, copying rules are not supported in the central purchasing scenarios; hence the copying of centrally managed purchase requisition notes cannot be directly copied to the follow-on documents like CRFQ.

Hi Akshay,

would this UKMS mapping work also for distribution of central contracts?

Map "Purchaser Note" CH16 from central contract to "Call of note" K00 in local contract?

Hi Jorgo,

Yes for central contract as well notes distribution will work based on the UKMS mapping defined between the notes type of Hub & Connected system
