Enter an expected value

Experts,

SRM 5/ECC 6 (Ext classic).

Limit SC created-->approved-->PO created. User deletes the line item in limit PO and this deletion status is passed onto ECC PO line item. Now user is trying to change this PO in SRM but is unable to do so as system issues message 'Enter an expected value'.I can see that 'expected value' field is already populated. Also the net price field in PO has become 0.

How can this issue be resolved?
