Email id missing in SU01 for user XXXX

Hi Guys,

We have a a case in which there are two users A and B.

1. A is on leave so he has set up a delegation for B in system which is valid.

2. Shopping carts created are routed to A for approval, but as delegation is set up B can approve A's shopping carts.

3. When B tries to approve the shopping cart he gets an error "Email id missing in SU01 for user A.

4. When B tries to approve some othet shopping carts he gets an error "Email id missing in SU01 for user (The user is the one who is the next approver for the Shopping cart).

Email id maintained in the user A, B and the next approver in SU01D.

If any one is aware of this kindly help.

Do you have communication method for the user in SU01 as E-Mail and also the official email ID is marked as Home Address..

Is the message is error or warning message??

Hi,

Communication method is Email.

Email id marked as home address.

Email id is valid and correct.

Message is error message.

Ok Now check whether you maintain Email Id in BP relationship and also in BP of the User ID..

Procedure:

Tran : BP

Find the User by name (or) number, Select the user..

click on relationship button (Verify the Email ID) here..

Hi

Always remember, Communication Medium, Email id need to be identically set up in the SU01 record as well as Business Partner of the Creator/Requestor.......

Any inconsistency will result in such errors in SRM system.

I think it should be problem with your BP entry only.. Please check that and let me know..
