Edit user account details in SAP CLM

Hi there,

We are unable to edit fields on the saved user account
details in SAP CLM. Most of the fields (in CLM) such as the user’s first name, surname, Account
name, email address are greyed out even when you put the user in edit mode after
you save the created user.

We would like to make amends on those particular fields.
Please advise on how we can change this from being greyed out to editable
fields when you are in the edit mode.

Thx.

Regards,

Dave

One more consideration....  Check the directory configuration. Are the attributes set to PUSH or PULL?

Thanks

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the information, I asked this question as I just wanted to confirm. The directory configuration of the non editable fields are set to PULL that is the reason you are not able to edit, if you will make it to PUSH the fields can be edited in the CLM System.

But if you make the setting as PUSH in CLM System then if any changes will be done in UME/LDAP for that particular field which have been set to PUSH then it will not reflect in CLM Side.

Please let me know if you need any other information.

Thanks

Hi,

Under Users and Security settings, have you enabled the values to Allow? There are 2 things that need to be done. 'Security Profile' and 'User Account' both need to have the values set to Allow.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Vikram
