ECS and Standalone in SRM7.0

Hi experts,

We have already system running on SRM7.0(ECS).now for few product categories i need to use standalone process.

do i need to activate any Badis for this process to implement?cant i use the data of Porg and Pgrp,plant,companycode of R3 in standalone process?

please help me on this.helpful points will be awarded

Hi,

You can use BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI to turn off ECS dynamically.

Thanks for the reply.I just want to clarify whether is it a mandatory thing to activate a badi to have standalone in SRM system when we are on ECS?

Can i create a local product category in SRM and config the same in backend system in product category? does it work in this way?

can i use the plant,purchase org and pgrp which are already used for ECS?

please guide me on this as i am new to this kind of process
