ECC Vendor replication with SRM integration

Hi

We are implementing SAP CLM 9

We have replicated Vendors from ECC system.

We have set up ECC and SRM Business systems in SAP CLM

Do we need to assign those ECC vendors to SRM Business system  to be able to distribute MA to SRM ? Or can we use ECC vendors in SRM-integrated MA types?

You dont need to assign the vendors to SRM business System. You can publish the MA to SRM with ECC vendors, the assumption is that the same vendors have already been replicated and exist in SRM.
