EBP and SUS in same client

Hi everyone,

We are implementing SRM 7, our client wants the same client for EBP and SUS. In this case, we have to define 2 logical systems (one for EBP and one for SUS), also, we have to define a RFC between eBP and SUS?

Hi,

Yes. 2 Logical systems and 1 or 2 RFC is required.

For recommended landscape, please check this.

Hi Ivan,

Going slightly offtrack, it is not recommended to have 1 client for EBP & SUS. SAP recommends that you keep your SUS client(Vendors) different from your SRM client (Org users).

Hi Masayuki and Nikhil,

Thanks for your answers. We know that one client for EBP ans SUS is no recomended, but our client wants to have this in the development enviroment.

Masayuki, When we have to use 1 RFC and when we have to use 2 RFC? The RFC has to be conectet to the same systme (From SRM to SRM), thas correct?

Yes. You have only 1 server and 1 client. No other destination.
