E-mail Alert to Approver

Hi ,

I want to send an e-mail alert to the approver of RFx whenever the document document is published and is in awaiting approval status.

Can this be done through some standard customizing in SRM ?

I have maintained the event schema in the define transaction types in SPRO.

Did it by scheduling the reports /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND
