Dynamic Selection of the value depending on the previous value of the field

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement, in which dynamically value should be entered/selected depending on  the value in the previous field, like the perpetual Term box works. It is a standard functionality. I know I can write a script on "save" and can achieve but I need to achieve as the perpetual term works.

Any pointer will help!

There is no supported way to get the UI to dynamically change the same way perpetual term works.  Like you suggest you can approximate the behavior but there is no provision in the application to do this.
