can you provide more detail around what is free of charge line item?

is it a line item with 0 quantity / price ?

Hi Prem,

Free of Charge Item is a PO with quantity but no price. For example, purchasing 10 pieces from vendor and get 2 pieces free. The 2 free pieces will be in the 2nd line item in the PO with no price required as there is a FOC checkbox.

We are testing now in the system and not sure what will be the system behavior when it comes to invoicing.

Hi Prem,

We have tested this. Although the supplier was not able to enter invoice, the dashboard status still show that invoice is pending for the PO.

Hi,

When it comes to invoicing you will have to take care of business rule

For PO with zero unit price on line item - you need to test it if system allows it.
