DSN- Conncecting multiple ERP systems

Dear Experts,

we have a three system landscape with our SAP OLTP systems (ERP 6.0 EHP 8).

• Development
• Quality assurance / Test
• Production

In each case for other environments:

• Production
• Test/Production
• Test

The question for us now is whether it makes sense to connect all three ERP systems or whether it is sufficient and practicable to connect only the QA and Production systems?

Hey Sunisa,

You can connect different environments to the CIG portal . You will have to define different systemIDs within the buyer account

to distinguish between the different environments . The system ID will have to be your ERP system ID .

This is for the scenario where a customer might want to connect their dev and QA instance to the CIG portal . In a production instance you will not have to do this since there will only be one production ERP.
