DSN - Common Testing Strategy

Hi experts,

Would like to know the common testing approach used in DSN implementation in your organization or project implementation involved.

Do you get suppliers to involve in User acceptance test (UAT) using their test account? Or just setup a make up supplier test accounts during the UAT?

Hello,

In the ideal project suppliers should be involved in kick-off of DSN and in UAT phase.

Supplier involvement requires extra effort from implementation partner as supplier will need a lot of hand-holding to execute testing scenarios properly and on time. This needs to be factored into SOW between partner and customer.

If customer is willing to cover extra work that partner needs to do - that is a perfect situation.
