DSN - Batch ID length

Hello all,

Is there any standard option to control the length of the supplier batch ID in DSN (apart from CIG mapping function)?

The reason is that SAP has a maximum of 20 characters and if the supplier fills in a longer batch it causes errors that are not even notified by email.

Hey Marcos,

There is no standard option to control the length . If there are no transaction rules available ,this requirement can be met with a customization on the "Supplier Batch ID field"
