Does SRM Catalog can only accommodate the purchasing groups of only one company code?

Hi SAP Experts,

Does SRM Catalog can only accommodate the purchasing groups of only one company code? Or is there a way to accommodate the purchasing groups of other company codes? Our problem is we maintained another company code to the main catalog(US 1003), then in SRM Shopping Cart once purchasing group, we manually changed the purchasing group of the maintained company code but once we go back to shopping cart, the dropdown of purchasing group gets defaulted to the main company code(1003) - purchasing groups.

one thing i do not understand: why do you maintain company code in your catalog?

Hi Laurent,

I'm not really sure but I think per (country) catalog, only one company code is defaulted for the purchasing group dropdown in Shopping Cart. For example, my user is from company code 1062(Europe) and will be buying from the US Catalog. Once I've checkout the item, we will be directed to the Shopping Cart screen which in there we will input some details before we Order the item. Therefore, we will change the purchasing group into Europe purchasing groups but after inputting the purchasing group, it will go back to the US purchasing groups? is that a standard functionality or bug?

Hello Luiz Carlos,

do not know how you managed your Purchasing Groups regarding product and organizational responsability (central one? local one?).

So, only thing i can recommend to you is to debug method /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_BO_SC~ADD_ITEMS_FROM_CATALOG from class /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_BO_SC.
