Documents contains item with duplicate external line number

Dear SRM expert,

In SRM 7.0 we have butons available for copy , paste , duplciate at line item level which should copy or duplicate the selected line item in the shopping cart. it does that , however it is also copying the external line item number like 001 and there is no way we can change that.

ideally the duplicate button should dupllicate the line item and increament the external line item number.

has anyone encountered the same and have the fix for the same ..

Hi Jay,

The NOTE indeed solved the problem , though the symptom was not totally not related to us.
