Document builder integration to SRM system using PPS

I am currently working on the document builder implementation and it integration with SRM system and i am planning to use SRM PPS.

Can someone please lead me to a step to step documentation about this issue or explain to me how can i manage that ?

Can you please tell me witch business functions i'll me using ?
