Hi Folks,
When vendor export the excel to see the questions, the excel by default hides column A, which displays the Questions number. Vendor can then unprotect the sheet and unhide the cells to see the Que no.’s.
Can we can do something to make column A display by default on export.
Thanks
Praveen

Praveen,
Yes, you can correct it by modifying the corresponding template. The default width of Column A is 0.00 in the standard template. You can increase the width to make to visible. Follow below steps to correct it.
1) Go to Set up-->File attachment container-->ExportRfxResponseToExcelTemplate.xls.
2) Download the template
3) Unprotect the sheets (if you are on MS Excel 2010, go to File--> Info--> Protect Workbook--> Unprotect the sheets)
4) Adjust the width of Column A in Questions Tab. Make sure you are not changing the format.
5) Protect the sheets again
6) Save it as different file name (this step is important if something goes wrong with your new file)
7) Upload the new template to File attachment container : ExportRfxResponseToExcelTemplate.xls.
But be cautious, any change in format will result in inconsistent export file. Make sure you are able to import Rfx in to system as well.
Hope this helps.

Shyam
