Direct Material PO asks for Account assignment in SRM

Hello All

We are currently working on SRM 7.0 with extended classic scenario.Whenever I try creating Direct material PO

it always ask for account assignment i.e.without entering account assignment it does not allow me to create PO.

Request your help in resolving this issue.

Hi Chandrashekar,

Open through field control - the field Storage location for Order as Direct

Please also maintain as said by Sunil above the storage locations in the extended attributes of the PPOMA.

If Storage locations are not maintained then generally it will ask for Account details in SC.

is the Material you using is replicated from ECC ?

Please check if the storage location is maintained in extended attribute of org structure.

Thanks very much for your reply.My issue here is while making Direct material PO in Portal in extended classic scenario it always asks for account assignment i.e.without account assignment i cannot make a PO even though if i click on order as direct material button it does not allow me to create PO.Please advice how to proceed.
