Why should our customers use SAP Digital Supplier Network when they are already using EDI to exchange their documents?

Hi Chad - customers can keep their EDI connections with DSN but typically EDI only supports the very top suppliers. DSN can cover all suppliers.
Here are a couple reasons why a customer will want to supplement their existing EDI or replace EDI with DSN:
1. DSN supports all customers - not just the top few
2. EDI requires time and resources to maintain for both the buyer and supplier, and is very specific to each connection
3. Hard to keep up with new laws and regulations that may require developments and investments
4. Expanding into new regions or countries will require finding new suppliers and accommodating new laws, languages, etc...
5. DSN comes with 100+ business rules that you can turn on by supplier or even by commodity
6.Very good chance that a high amount of your suppliers are already transacting in the Network already
So for a flat annual fee, you can have a supplier portal hosted by SAP with EDI integration capabilities for your top suppliers, and digital collaboration PO-to-Invoice for ALL your suppliers.
Hope it helps
Thanks
Sean
